I have not missed anything from home - but my knife sharpener. I brought a really good knife with me last year, but it's dulling - and since I have one at home, I don't want to buy another. I was at home in July and managed to whittle more away. I basically have kitchen stuff left, and some books and photos left to bring. Once I leave this furnished house I will need some furniture - but for now, all is comfy! Yes, it’s true. I have not missed anything from home – but my knife sharpener. Try to determine what your life style will be in St. John's - you will have lots more time for leisure activities there - life is much more uncomplicated. If the toaster is newish,bring it. If you have an expensive newish mattress, bring it. Anything you must move ( trophy and art supplies are a must haves) - check on kijii and see if anyone is advertising room on a truck going to NFLD.
